FCC: a new fresh fuel assembly shipping container

Description

After more than two years of development, in early 1999 Framatome presented to the French Safety Authority a safety file of the new FCC packaging, meeting upgrading safety requirements. The agreement was delivered in January 2000. The first FCC packaging could be used during the second half of 2000. (authors)
