Electron paramagnetic resonance: a tool to study the structural, nuclear and radiation chemistry of actinides [Paper No. IT-11]
Description
The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) studies of actinides in non-metallic solids are reviewed with a special emphasis on their electronic properties, effects of crystal fields and electron-nuclear hyperfine interactions. Furthermore, EPR results obtained in Cs2(Np)ZrCl6, Am:BaO, Am:IaF and Am:SrSO4 systems are discussed. (author)
