Description
The dependence of the coercive field of Co58Ni10Fe5Si11B16 on the ribbon's thickness is measured after different thinning treatments. Furthermore the surface profile is recorded and its influence on the coercive-field is analysed. Bulk and surface contributions to the coercive field are separated. In order to reduce influences on internal stresses the nearly non-magnetostrictive alloy Co58Ni10Fe5Si11B16 is investigated which is produced by the spin-quenching technique. (author)
