Evaluation of animal models using in-111-labeled platelets
Creators
- 1. Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology Washington Univ., St. Louis, MO
Description
The author begins by giving a summary of the physiological processes involved in blood cell labeling with Indium-111 and then proceeds to evaluate the advantages of particular animal species to fit the criteria for research in order to advance the correlation of human disease that is dependent on these data. He concludes that choosing an appropriate animal model should be an improtant criterion for experimental design
