Description
On May 4, 1986, an incident occurred in the fuel handling system of the THTR-300 which handles the spherical fuel elements and the moderator and absorber elements. The article explains basic design features of the reactor and details of the fuelling system, and summarizes the events leading to the incident, as well as the radiological consequences and the countermeasures taken. In der Beschickungsanlage der kugelfoermigen Brenn-, Moderator- und Absorberelemente ereignete sich am 4.5.1986 ein Zwischenfall. Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung des THTR-300 und der Beschickungsanlage werden der Zwischenfall rekonstruiert sowie die radiologischen Folgen und Abhilfemassnahmen bewertet. (DG)Additional details
