Description
The effectiveness of gamma radiation of 8 x 10-2 and 10-3 Gy/min on murine spermatogonii was investigated according to the reciprocal translocations in order to estimate the threshold of the dose rate. The results showed that in both dose rates the aberration yield increased in all dose ranges up to 6 Gy. It was found that RBE-coefficient of gamma rays with power of 8 x 10-2 and 10-3 Gy/min constituted respectively 0,5 and 0,3. The lowest dose rate of 1 x 10-4 Gy/min was in the threshold range. The investigation of the lower dose rate effects are recommended
