Relaxation of electron excitations in beryllium oxide. 2. Exciton relaxation on isovalent impurities
- 1. Ural'skij Gosudarstvennyj Tekhnicheskij Univ., Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation)
Description
Complex of luminescent-optical investigations within 10-600 K temperature range and 5-36 eV energy range using synchrotron emission was carried out for BeO crystals alloyed by Mg and Zn isovalent impurities. Paper presents analysis of luminescence excitation selective spectra, of kinetic parameters and temperature dependences of the selected luminescence. Exciton and electron-hole mechanisms of energy transfer in BeO were studied experimentally using F-centre as a luminescent probe
