Radiation-transparent window, especially for X-ray picture intensifyer
Description
The transparent window from Al for an X-ray picture intensifyer is connected in a high-vacuum tight and temperature resistant manner with the frame made of e.g. stainless steel by means of high-pressure diffusion welding. For this purpose the parts resp. edges of the window and the frame contacting each other have at first been nickel-plated and then silver-plated, for which process an electrolytic method may be used. The Ni and AgS coatings formed have got a thickness between 5 and 25 μm resp. 5 and 20 μm. The seal welding is performed between both AgS layers at pressures of 60 up to 180 N/mm2, temperatures of 200 to 5000C and within a time of 1 to 4 hours. (DG)

Das Strahleneintrittsfenster aus Al zu einem Roentgenbildverstaerker ist hochvakuumdicht und temperaturbestaendig mit dem Rahmen aus z.B. Edelstahl mittels einer Hochdruck-Diffusionsverschweissung verbunden. Hierzu sind die sich beruehrenden Teile bzw. Raender des Fensters und des Rahmens zuerst vernickelt und daraufhin versilbert worden, wozu ein elektrolytisches Verfahren dienen kann. Die entstandenen Ni- und Ag-Schichten weisen eine Staerke zwischen 5 bis 25 μm bzw. 5 bis 20 μm auf. Die eigentliche Verschweissung erfolgt zwischen den beiden Ag-Schichten bei Druecken von 60 bis 180N/mm2, Temperaturen von 200 bis 5000C und in einer Zeit von 1 bis 4 Stunden. (DG)Files
