Setting the Foundations - Policy Principles: A good social media policy should concisely: • Align with organizational core values/code of conduct/other policies; • Provide a clear framework for use of accounts;; • Guide appropriate content and engagement activities; • Identify required conduct, oversight and enforcement; • Explain use of disclaimers; And: • Be regularly reviewed and updated. Don't forget: if it's too long , complex or unclear, your policy may be unenforceable, or you may lose valuable social media ambassadors
