Austenite formation on rapid continuous heating of maraging steel

Description
Processes taking place in the 0.3Kh11N10M2T maraging steel under its rapid continuoUs heating at the rates of 1-2x103 k/s are studied. It is shown that kinetics and mechanism of phase α→γ transformation are determined by concentration state of α-matrix formed under development of precipitation processes and succeeding partial dissolution of excess phase
