Description
Research report, assessment of the world processes currently used to process ilmenite and as well as new technology research and development trends in titanium ore processing. Here, fluorine processing ilmenite combined with electrolytic technology to process powdered metal titanium emerges as a good solution to shorten and optimize the production process, reducing substances to the point of almost eliminating discharge in all three forms of solid, liquid and gas into the environment; At the same time, opening up a series of potential applications in the field of processing rare earth elements in Vietnam. In this report, the project team proposed a technological scheme of fluorinated ilmenite processing and production of powder metal titanium by TiF4 electrolysis method. (author)
