Energies of line singularities in 3He-A

Description
We investigate a class of topologically equivalent line singularities in 3He-A to determine which of this class has the lowest free energy density. Most of our results concern the Landau--Ginzburg regime near T/sub c/; we offer a speculation on what might occur further below T/sub c/
