Application of the cumulative sum algorithm for steam generator leakage detection

Description

Consideration is given to the problem of revealing minor effects of failure of heat-exchange surfaces in steam generators of sodium-water type according to fluctuation signals of regular magnetic flowmeters. Monitoring of fluctuation signals of magnetic flowmeters was based on auto-regression simulation and modified algorithm of cumulative sums. Good results were obtained for experiments with gas injection at bench and commercial plants. 3 refs., 3 figs
