Real part of amplitude and hadron scattering cross section at superhigh energies
Description
New data on measuring the ratio of the real to imaginary part of the forward scattering amplitude: ρpp-bar(√s=546 GeV)=0.24±0.04 have been considered. This result is shown to agree with the behaviour of σtot(s), predicted by the U-matrix model. A possibility of transition to antishadow scattering mode at superhigh energies is stated
