Draft of experimental programme of physical start-up of light-water reactors

A draft programme is presented of the physical start-up of a light-water reactor and of the methods of the respective experiments included in the WWER programme in Czechoslovakia. The physical start-up programme comprises the following experiments: 1) the test of subcriticality and of the attainment of criticality; 2) the calibration of control elements; 3) the effectiveness of boric acid solution in the primary circuit coolant; 4) the temperature coefficient determination; 5) the neutron flux distribution in the reactor core.
