Autoradiographic study of the nucleolar RNA metabolism during the oogenesis of Lineus ruber Mueller (Heteronemertes)
Description
During Lineus ruber oogenesis, there is a very high uridine uptake by the oocyte before the yolk formation. At the end of this stage, the nucleolus shows a special structure that seems to be related to a decrease of the ribosomal RNA synthesis. During the yolk formation, the nucleolus scatters in the nucleus, allowing ribonucleoprotein granules to go towards the cytoplasm
Abstract (French)
L'etude du metabolisme de l'ARN au cours de l'ovogenese de Lineus ruber montre qu'en previtellogenese l'incorporation d'uridine est tres active. La structure bipartite du nucleole a la fin de ce stade semble correspondre a une diminution de la synthese d'ARN ribosomal. La dispersion du materiel nucleolaire au cours de la vitellogenese permet alors la diffusion vers le cytoplasme des granules ribonucleoproteiquesAdditional details
