Description
The second version of the recommended evaluated neutron data library (BROND) has been formed in IPPE. The library contains the data in ENDF/B-format for the main materials used in reactor technology and radiation shielding. Most of the files were compiled from the Soviet original evaluations. The evaluated cross sections were converted into group constants, which were tested against the macroscopic experiments on critical assemblies and in reactor calculations. The results displayed good accuracy and general consistency of the evaluated microscopic data. (orig.)
