Description
This Order was issued by the Minister of Public Health and the Family and amends the annex to the Order of 16th July 1980 which regulates the treatment by ionizing radiation of food for human and animal consumption. Certain spices and vegetables have now been included for purposes of irradiation; the Order also prescribes the technical specifications to be complied with in their respect. (NEA)

Cet Arrete, pris par le Ministre de la Sante Publique et de la Famille a pour objet de modifier l'Annexe de l'Arrete ministeriel du 16 juillet 1980 portant reglementation en matiere de traitement par des radiations ionisantes de denrees destinees a l'alimentation humaine ou animale. En vertu de cet amendement, certains epices, aromates et legumes sont desormais inclus dans la liste des produits dont l'irradiation a des fins alimentaires est reglementee.
