Description
Positron emission tomography (PET) has probably a great future in lung cancer oncology. Many limitations still exist in the diagnostic and therapeutic work up of lung cancer. These limitations might be greatly improved with the use of PET. The present article deals with these limitations and the potential use of PET. (author)
