Present state and prospects of nuclear geophysics application in the North-Eastern territory geological department

Description

The paper shows that, among the nuclear geophysics methods used by the Soviet Northeastern Geological Survey, the X-ray radiometric method has found extensive application in recent years. The method is used for testing tin, tungsten, mercury and polymetallic ores in natural beddings; it is also used in estimating the contents of these elements in the walls of underground working and in well cores, as well as for precise determining their content in powder and heavy concentrate samples
