Modified fluorescent X-ray analysis of zink-lead ores

The problem has been solved of rapid determinations of lead, zinc and iron contents under conditions of varying character (sulphide and oxide ores) and of variable metal contents for the Silesian-Cracovian zinc-lead ores. Two methods of calculation have been proposed for the fluorescent X-ray analysis allowing the removal of the die effects what was unsolved up to now. A description is given of these methods conventionally called spectrometric and filtration method and their suitability is being confirmed. (author)
