Description

Object: To increase the average core power density and fuel economy by so arranging as to pour moderator according to variation of the surplus reactivity. Structure: In a moderator region surrounded by a fuel assembly a reactivity adjustment moderator region with the inside divided by fine division tubes of concentric circles is provided. The finely divided regions are successively filled with the moderator according to the variation of the surplus reactivity. (Kamimura, M.)
