U12, its 143 momenta, its little group U6xU6 and its irregular couplings

  • 1. European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva (Switzerland)

Description

The (U-bar)12 symmetry is developed along lines used for SL(6,C) by Ruehl and by Katz. There are 143 components of momentum. The Wigner-Bargmann equations are formally invariant. The little group is U6xU6, rather than SU6, which explains the increased dimensions of multiplets. New 'irregular' couplings are permitted. Charge conjugation and the substitution rule are briefly explained. (author)
