On the emission of electromagnetic radiation by a charged particle in linear accelerated motion
Creators
Description
Emission of electromagnetic radiation by an electric charge in linear accelerated motion is studied from a relativistic point of view. Both the space-extended radiation derived from Maxwell's theory, and the quantized model described by Einstein, are considered. A thorough scrutiny of the conditions for such an emission, gives results at variance with classical electrodynamics, and leads to a new description of the radiation process
