  • 1. LaTIM, INSERM, UMR 1101, Faculte de medecine, batiment IBRBS, 22, Av. Camille Desmoulins, 29238 Brest (France)

Description

In this Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR), the author first reports his curriculum and briefly presents his teaching and research activities, as well as his various publications. His research works are then more precisely presented, including his PhD works, and then addressing works performed within a research laboratory which mainly addressed the Monte-Carlo simulation in a GPU architecture, the Monte-Carlo simulation for medical applications, the modelling of radiotherapy treatment systems, and the modelling of the patient. Present and future works are then presented: computer-aided prostate curie-therapy, dose optimisation for X-ray guided procedures, and external radiotherapy. An extended bibliography and some significant and important articles and texts are provided in appendix.
