Preparation and study of properties of some neptunium(7) compounds
Description
Effect is studied of ultrasound on the kinetics and yield of oxidation of neptunium(5) hydroxide with ozone in dependence on the alkali metal hydroxide concentration. In RbOH and CsOH media at other equal conditions is observed formation of mixture of Np(7) solid compounds identified as MNpO4, where M = Rb and Cs, with the yield of 90%. The powder X-rayogram is detected and the RbNpO4 elementary cell parameters are determined. It is shown that in RbOH and CsOH media with concentration above 3 mol/l on the Np(5) oxidation wioth ozone in the ultrasound field are obtained strong stable solutions of Np(7)
