The case of uncontrolled opening of all steam dump valves to the condenser was analyzed with respect to ensuring a sufficient cooling of the reactor core; therefore, the conservative assumptions were chosen so as to attain the lowest possible departure from nucleate boiling ratio (DNBR). The RELAP5/MOD3.1 code was employed. The acceptance criteria for the accident were met
