Experimental study of a state equation for liquid alkali metals

Description

The experimental PVT data are presented on liquid Na, Rb and Cs, obtained at temperatures from 500 K to 1000 K and pressures up to 750 bar for Rb and Cs, and 500 bar for Na. The measurements are carried out by a dilatometer with metal levels being electrically fixed. The results obtained are compared with available experimental PVT data, the temperature range of which is limited mainly to 200 deg C. The error in the data for density does not exceed 0.2%
