Nuclear lure for Eastern Europe

Description

Although still in recession in western Europe, nuclear power is being seen by Eastern European countries as important and necessary in solving some of their problems of energy demand whilst also reducing the pollution from the existing power plants. It is argued that greater energy efficiency should be encouraged rather than new nuclear power plants built. (UK)
