Permeation and diffusion of hydrogen and deuterium under fission-reactor radiation

Description
Diffusion- and solubility-data of hydrogen and deuterium in steel samples at 520 K were measured in the primary radiation environment of the ASTRA-reactor (lightwater moderated 8 MW research reactor) by means of a new-developed irradiation capsule. The method is based on gas-content measurements in small samples before and after irradiation. First results are reported. (orig.)
