Crystal structure of complex neptunium(5) chromate CsNpO2CrO4·2H2O

Description
Structure of CsNpO2CrO4·2H2O is determined. Crystallographic data are as follows: a = 7.359(3), b = 7.523(2), c 15.457(3) A; sp. gr. Pnma, Z = 4, dcal = 4.30 g/cm3. Structure contains endless chains of [NpO2CrO4(H2O)]nn- composition where Np coordination polyhedrons (pentagonal bipyramides) are connected by common edges due to chromate-anion bridging atoms.
