Description
A mobile β/γ in-vivo counter for detection of incorporated 90Sr was demonstrated. β-particles of 90Sr daugther 90Y were measured with proportional counters in the area of the head. The Bremsstrahlung and other photons were checked to ensure the definitive β-results. At the same time, the γ-emitting nuclides were measured in a standard chair geometry. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Vorgestellt wird ein mobiler β/γ in-vivo Zaehler zum Nachweis von inkorporiertem 90Sr. Es werden im Kopfbereich β-Teilchen des 90Sr Tochternuklids 90Y direkt mit Proportionalzaehlern gemessen. Um die Eindeutigkeit der β-Messungen zu sichern, wird im Kopfbereich der Bremsstrahlungs- und sonstige Photonenanteil ueberprueft. Simultan erfasst werden ausserdem γ-emittierende Nuklide, gemessen in Standardstuhlgeometrie. (orig.)Additional details
