Possible future storage rings at CERN: p--p and e--p

Creators

  • 1. CERN, Geneva, Switzerland

Description

As a natural extension of the intersecting storage ring concept at CERN, the feasibility of future storage rings is considered. Among the criteria discussed are the possible machine lattices, types of interaction regions, number of insertions, and possibilities of colliding other particles (i.e. other than protons and antiprotons)
