The properties of titanium blades of turbine compressors with an implanted nitride coating

Description

This work is concerned with the examination of the effect of the dose of ion radiation in the process of deposition of the nitride coating on the properties of the compressor blades of the turbine. Experiments are carried out on the rotor blades of the first stage of the compressor of TV-3-107 engine produced from the VT8 titanium alloy with the total content of aluminium, molybdenum and zirconium of approximately 8 wt.%
