Flux trapping efficiency during the early formation phase of a field reversed configuration

  • 1. Comision Nacional de Energia Atomica, Departamento de Prospectiva, Division Fusion Nuclear, 1429 Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Description

The observed discrepancy between the recently reported trapped flux efficiency during the field reversal phase of field reversed configurations in a fast theta pinch and previous scaling laws has been further analyzed and attributed to a change in the trapped flux loss mechanism consistent with a modified inertial loss
