Facility for measurement of a secondary beam profile
Description
An installation detecting the secondary particles beam profile in the fast ejection mode in the beam channel of the IHEP accelerator is described. For beam detection proportional chambers are used. Their analog information is converted into the digital code and stored in the scalers. The installation comprises 64 channels. The convertor sensitivity makes up 5x10sub(-14) coulomb, convertion linearity is not worse than 0.5%. The information is output on to the storage osciloscope, digital display and printing device
