Nuclear target preparation at Institute for Nuclear Research
Description
Main equipment, last years technical and technology elaborations used for the nuclear target preparation from the stable isotopes of natural and enriched content are described. The mechanical, thermal, absorption, beam, electrolytic and chemical methods were applied for production as the self supporting target and films so single layer and multi layer films deposited on suitable backings. The technology are based on specially upgraded industrial equipment and elaborated for these aims instruments and devices. Some details of the technology and target testing are discussed. 7 refs., 3 tab
