Synthesis of hexachlororhenates with quaternary phosphonium cations and investigation of their thermal solid-phase transformations

Description
An ability of triphenylphosphine and 1, 2-bis(diphenylphosphine)-ethane in the composition of (HPPh3)2[ReCl6] and (H2dppe)[ReCl6] complexes to enter into quaternization reaction with acetone condensation product-mesityl oxide is studied. A new type of thermal regroupping rhenium (4) phosphonium chloride complexes proceeding according to the scheme (PR4)2[R2Cl6] → [Re(PR3)2Cl4]+2RCl is revealed
