Gas-tight suit for protection against toxic or radioactive gases and dust particles and their radiation
Description
Gas-tight suits are worn as a protection against toxic or radioactive gases and dust particles. They are fitted with respirators and a device to discharge the used air. On the back of the suit there is a chamber which acts in a pressure-regulating way. This chamber is connected with the inside of the suit via an overflow mechanism and can be blown up with air or it can be contracted through its elastic links. These suits can also be worm in an atmosphere of cover gases, e.g. argon or helium. (ORU/LN)

Der gasdichte Anzug dient zum Schutze gegen giftige oder radioaktive Gase und Staeube sowie deren Strahlungen. Sein Innenraum ist mit einer Atemluftversorgung und einer Abfuehrung fuer die verbrauchte Luft verbunden. Auf dem Ruecken des Anzuges ist eine als Druckausgleichsbehaeltnis wirkende Kammer befestigt. Sie steht mittels Ueberstroemleitungen ebenfalls mit dem Innenraum in Verbindung und kann mittels Ueberstroemluft aufgeblaeht bzw. mittels elastischer Glieder verkleinert werden. Der Anzug ist auch in einer Schutzgasatmoshaere, wie z.B. Argon oder Helium, einsetzbar. (ORU)Files
