Damaged nuclear fuel with channel reactor design materials high-temperature interaction dynamics
Description
The experimental research of high-temperature physico-chemical interaction of uranium fuel with both the fuel element envelopes and channel reactor design materials have been carried out. The conditions and characteristics of such an interaction are quantitatively determined as well. The necessity of both the possible criticality of LFCM congestions in 'Shelter' and 1986 accident active phase script of a course scenario revaluation outcomes from the experimental results. It is shown, that the heavy radioecological consequences of accident are mainly stipulated by a rough fault was made at the stage of reactor designing
