Description

Purpose: To satisfy the power change demand as much as possible within a range capable of maintaining the reactor soundness, as well as cope with the power change demand that varies in a short time. Constitution: 3-dimensional power distribution in the reactor core is calculated by a process computer. Further, an allowable range for the power change capable of maintaining the soundness of the reactor core status is calculated by a power change width determination device. A limiter judges whether the value for the demanded power change is within the allowable range or not. If it is in the allowable range, the value for the demanded power change is outputted as it is as the power change value and, while on the other hand, if it is out of the allowable range, the limit value of the allowable range is outputted as a power change value. Furthermore, the power change device is inputted with the power change value and performs the power change for the nuclear reactor based on the change value. (Kawakami, Y.)
