Description
The tube bundle of PWR steam generators is affected by corrosion in various plants. In Belgium the main problem is Primary Water Stress Corrosion Cracking (PWSCC) in the roll transition of Mill Annealed (MA) Inconel 600 tubes. This article addresses the general case of monitoring and treatment of any generic 'disease' affecting the tube bundle, illustrated by the PWSCC problem. 1 fig
