New tests of nuclear models with charged-particle reaction spectroscopy

Creators

  • 1. McMaster Univ., Hamilton, Ontario (Canada)

Description

The use of single-nucleon transfer and other reactions to test recent predictions of various nuclear models is described. Examples include the U(6/12) supersymmetry for odd platinum nuclei, the rotor-plus-particle and Interacting Boson Fermion-Fermion model for odd-odd iridium nuclei, and the Quasiparticle-Phonon model for high angular momentum phonons (λ = 4, 5, 6-9) in deformed rare earth nuclei
