Description

Neutron spectrometer with gamma-quantum pulse shape discrimination is described. Stilbene crystal 30 mm in diameter and 20 mm in thick and FEhU-93 photomultiplier have been used as a detector. The method, based on comparison of total pulse charge of FEhU current with charge fast component of this pulse, is used for neutron identification. The energy range of neutron detection is 0.3-10 MeV, the gamma-quantum supporession coefficient is approximately 10sup(-3). The spectrometer can operate under loading conditions upto 5x104 pulse/s
