Magnetohydrodynamic flow past a moving conducting sphere in the presence of a magnetic field

Description
A conducting solid sphere is translating and rotating both with exponential time dependent decay in an electrically conducting viscous liquid. This motion takes place in the presence of a magnetic field which originates both in the interior and exterior of the moving sphere. The fluid velocity and magnetic fields are analytically constructed in a concise form, and a compact expression is given for the drag on the sphere. copyright 1997 American Institute of Physics
