Description

The crystal structure of the double oxide of tetravalent lead Sr2PbO4 (1) as well as its isostructural compound - K2ZrO3 (2) is briefly constructed. Structure (1) consists of chains of the rutile type bound with each other by Sr22+ ions with coordination number 7. Structure 2 is constructed out of chains ZrO3; coordination polyhedron of the zirconium atom is the tetragonal pyramid, and apical bond Zr-O is shorter than the rest four ones, the metal atom lies over the pyramid base
