Description

The object VV 126 was investigated using spectrograms obtained with the 6-m telescope. VV 126 is a system of two or more distorted giant galaxies with peculiar velocity field. The system contains emission knots, which are gian H2 regions - superassociations. If the system is stable, its total mass is approximately 1011 Msub(sun). Relative intensities of emission lines are similar to those observed for H2 regions in spiral structure of ordinary galaxies
