Generational opportunity for New Brunswick
Description
New Brunswick(NB) has an ideal location for on-grid Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). NB has a strong nuclear operator, a strong base of academia, a strong manufacturing ability, an effective and flexible workforce and a social license. Some design work has been recently initiated. Modular construction scheme has begun. Design and Development of the New Brunswick Supply Chain in ongoing. There will be development over summer with review of New Brunswick capabilities in the fall. Finally, there is planning for Phase 2 of the CNSC Vendor Design Review.
