On the homogeneity region of Cr7S8 surplus sulfide phase in Ni-Cr alloys
Description
A supplementary annealing of hardened (in water) alloys with 10, 20 and 30 wt.% of Cr with the following slow cooling up to room temperature has been carried out in order to investigate isolated chromium sulfides. It has been shown that in the process of high temperature annealing and quenchinq of Ni-Cr alloys with 0.1 wt.% of sulphur and 20.30 wt.% of chromium metastable chromium sulfides is formed which during a supplementary anneling and slow cooling decompose to Cr7S8 and CrS
