Service lives of long-life carbon stripper foils in the first three years operation of the JAERI tandem accelerator

For three years after the installation of long-life carbon stripper foils in 1982, 82 of them have been used for acceleration of heavy ions at the JAERI tandem accelerator. Their service lives and their conditions after use were investigated. (orig.)
